About Girls Active
Girls Active was established in 2013 by the Youth Sport Trust as a means of helping promote sport and physical activity for girls. Research conducted by the team has shown that by the age of seven, girls are already less active than boys, and this disparity only continues to widen as they get older. The Girls Active programme aims to tackle the negative attitudes that girls can have towards sport and body image, working with schools on their policies and practices to make PE and sport “more relevant to girls’ lives”.

“We genuinely love what the team at boobydoo do, and are very much looking forward to working with Charly and her team on this fantastic new initiative. Much of the work we do is about helping girls to develop self-confidence in sport, so that they feel motivated and driven towards achieving their goals. A good fitting sports bra is hugely significant here, and yet something which is often not properly understood. I’m confident that we’ll learn a great deal ourselves too, which will support us greatly in the work we do in the longer term too.”

How long will my sports bra fitting last?
Your fitting appointment will last for approx 20 minutes. The event is running to a strict time schedule, please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment.
Do you have free parking?
Yes, we have free parking available in front of our office and there is street parking around the industrial estate. Please be cautious not to block any access roads or vehicles.
Where are you located?
The location for the fitting is Unit 12, Parker Centre Industrial Estate, Mansfield Road, Derby, DE21 4SZ. On arrival into the estate, follow the road past Rollersnakes, a green custom vehicle shop and Crossfit Deviant on the left. Our unit is adjoined to Star Signs building.
Do I have to buy a sports bra on the day?
Purchases for sports bras can be made on the day of your fitting, or a discount code can be issued to you for later purchases, valid for one month from the date of your appointment. Please note we can only accept card payments.
Where will the fitting take place?
The fittings will take place in our brand new fitting room. Each person will have their own private changing facility.
